Diez Dominguez (Country Manager IBERIA at CFP Energy) takes a closer look at what the review could mean for European industry, carbon markets and the transition to a lower-carbon economy. The Commission’s proposal sets the framework for the next phase of the EU ETS from 2031 to 2040 and introduces important changes around free allocation, industrial decarbonisation and the relationship with CBAM.
